Julia Zimmermann is a German photo and video journalist. Born in Germany, she moved to Paris, France, for university studies. 

Since 2019, she has been working and living in Southeast Asia and, more recently, in the Middle East, where she is currently based. Her work primarily focuses on minority and postwar subjects. Julia has collaborated with agencies such as Associated Press (AP), SIPA Press, and Metrography. Her work has been featured in media outlets including La Croix, Libération, Le Soir, Ouest France, La Vie, Tsugi Magazine, and Dutch Daily, as well as on channels like Deutsche Welle (DW) and RBB.
